For Howard think of a Cecil Fielder of Mo Vaughn career path. For Cabrera, think Frank Robinson, Mickey Mantle, or Hank Aaron career path. There isn't a single hall of famer on Howard's most comparable list. In Cabrera's most comparable there are 6 hall of famers, and 3 future hall of famers just in his top 10.

Look at all of that and tell me why Howard deserves to even be mentioned in the same breath as Cabrera. Howard is an All Star caliber player. Cabrera is a Hall Of Fame caliber player.

Just to play the devil's advocate, we all know that's due in large part because of the age at which the two players made their respective debuts, and you'd be hard pressed to find any "slugger" through age 28 or whatever Howard is that has such minimal production, but in their 1st 2+ seasons, it's not bad at all.

It's too late for you to try and 'support' a black player.

:lol :lol :lol :lol

Im getting tired of these ignorant philly fans in here.

I get tired of them in general, My Roomate is one and yes it is as bad as you would assume.

And why is this thread 5 pages long?

This is pointless.

Is this a pissing contest?

Let this one rest in peace....
