I do not think that willis will be traded to us, And I think I know what post you are refering to.

And No Who would wantt another 1st basemen, because yes cabrera will be a first basement because he is getting fatter than hell, when you have ryan howard.

Miguel Cabrera is better than Ryan Howard.

Okay, No

Prove it to me.

You prove it to me Howard has 27 HR and I beleive 78 RBI

beats Miggy in less at bats, and games played.

Although cabrera has a nice average.

:lol

Ok. Look at my above statement.

And what?

Okay I gave you proof since Miggys fielding definately isnt his strong point so we will forget about that. howard is beating him in 2 of 3 tripple crown cats, and is the reighning MVP and is by far the fastest to hit 100 home runs in MLB history. need I say more? Maybe Cabrera could take on Kobiashi in a hotdog eating contest?

From the majority of posts you have there, you still seem stupid.

Oh im crushed. You found out I post on a phillies board! OH NO! save me!

There's no saving you....

You're a Phillies fan

You're hopeless.......

Oh well, hopeless but loyal

.

Crawl back into that troll hole you crawled out of.... seriously dude it's pretty pathetic that you have nothing better to do than to come on a Marlins board and troll about Scotty O'.

Get a life.

I must say, your bait you were giving us was tasty at first, but now we have 2 options: take the bait until you get banned or leave, or let this thread die in obscurity. Either one works for me.

How does it feel to be a city full of bandwagon jumpers?

And how does it feel to be suspended?

Good night, troll.

Owned.

:notworthy I love you Rachel.

The Phillies may have 10,000 losses but their fans show up to their ballpark win, lose or draw....you wish you had the Phillies fanbase.....I love the Marlins and all but it's an embarrassment to have all those empty seats. Excluding the Heat, Philly has a better fanbase in every sport then Miami.

It goes to show that some people have no life and have nothing better to do but come over to a another teams site and talk S**t. seems like one hell of a saturday night to me.....maybe i should try it sometime

The Phillies crowds are the quietest crowds I've ever been around (although I haven't been to the new park). 35,000 Phillies fans at the Vet made a fraction of the noise than 10,000 Marlins fans make at the Pro. Yeah, the people of Philadelphia go to the games and support their teams, but they don't seem to enjoy doing it. And most of my family is from Philly so I know about some of this firsthand.

And you're telling US this? Give me a break.

How many times do we have to hear it, honestly?

We are the ones who support the team. And yet we are the ones who have to hear this crap constantly. Yes, the attendance sucks. WE KNOW.

but one show up to game their now marlins very well i bet alot in Phillies donot know who have most run who is pitching we some group but we know our team their donot Phillies suck i hope we beat them next time we play them

i guess you've never been to Miami, because the Heat dont mean sh*t. mostly because they're not a football team.

Miami is Dolphin country.

Miguel has a better OPS than Howard in a less favorable ballpark. Oh yeah, and he is 3 years younger. By the time Miggy is Howard's age he will have 230-275HRs.

I'm sorry I missed this thread. Here's a nice bit for you people who have any question who is the better player:

WARP3 for 2007

Cabrera 10.7

Ryan Howard 6.2

WARP3 for 2006

Cabrera 11.5

Howard 9.4

He's been worth 4 and a half more wins for the Marlins than Howard has been for the Phillies. The difference? Surprisingly, most of the difference in Value is in defense. Cabrera is 3 fielding runs above average level for the past 2 years combined, whereas Howard is -20 for the past 2 years. That is a big difference.

Also, Cabrera has a higher Slugging and OB percentage this year, and has a higher EQA this year (20 points higher, in fact). Howard had only a 5 point advantage on Cabrera last year. The difference? Howard was 26 and just entering his prime 4 years and doesn't have much improving to do, whereas Cabrera is 24 and is 3 or 4 years from his prime 4 year stretch. The numbers he's going to put up from 27-31 are going to be incredible, and when he reaches that age Howard won't even be in the conversation.

For Howard think of a Cecil Fielder of Mo Vaughn career path. For Cabrera, think Frank Robinson, Mickey Mantle, or Hank Aaron career path. There isn't a single hall of famer on Howard's most comparable list. In Cabrera's most comparable there are 6 hall of famers, and 3 future hall of famers just in his top 10.

Look at all of that and tell me why Howard deserves to even be mentioned in the same breath as Cabrera. Howard is an All Star caliber player. Cabrera is a Hall Of Fame caliber player.

Just to play the devil's advocate, we all know that's due in large part because of the age at which the two players made their respective debuts, and you'd be hard pressed to find any "slugger" through age 28 or whatever Howard is that has such minimal production, but in their 1st 2+ seasons, it's not bad at all.

This short video sums it up

Warning: there is profranity in this clip. So if you dont want your childern seeing this i advise not to click They will learn the F word real quick

I was watching another video about the 10,000 loss. its like all the fans were cheering for it.

It's too late for you to try and 'support' a black player.
