The Phils awesome comeback

Featured Replies

One out to go in the Bottom of the ninth with no one on and Rollins up to bat. He swats what appeared to be a long pop out and game is seemingly over. Then both outfielders crash into each other giving Rollins enough time for an inside the park home run which would lead to a monstrous 11th inning walkoff by Ryan Howard to win the game.

That was absoluely awesome.

Just think, just 32 years of averaging 100 wins a seasons and they'll be back to .500 as a franchise!

Should be easy for them, amirite?

Interesting side note: the Astros have, historically, been a pretty bad club over their 45 years of existance. Yet they are currently 17 wins below .500 as a franchise (3623-3640). They need to play better than .500 ball this season to get to par.

That's not too bad considering in the best of circumstances, it would take the Marlins (1089-1214) 2, maybe 3, years. And the Marlins have twice as many penants (2-1) and 2 World Championships to 0 on their resume already.

The worst part about it is it led that douchebag Phillies fan to send me a PM about Howard's walkoff.

I'm not the only Phillies fan here?
