We do not get a lot of national spotlight; therefore, those annoying fans that insist only on going to a game to see a certain player rather than their own team would avoid the Marlins. That is going to change though. After the Mutts choke in the first round this year, attention in the NL will focus on the DBacks with their young talent and the Marlins because of Miggy and Hanley.

We only play those AL teams once every 6 years on the road. But does it really surprise anyone that a team with so little national coverage doesn't have huge attendance on the road? But then again, we are somehow beating the Dodgers, which shows these numbers don't really matter. (BTW, when we were at LA they drew huge numbers but when they were here our stadium was even emptier than usual. If that was switched we would be below them.)
