August 23, 200719 yr funny thing is that the first name that popped in my head was Braun before I even opened the thread... guy is amazing. he was brought up to the bigs and slotted in the 3rd spot from the start, shows you a little bit of what this guy is capable of and how much faith the FO has on him. UM product too
August 23, 200719 yr His name has been thrown out there, maybe not a lot, but serveral times, esp. after Hunter Pence went down. The only problem is that the Brewers are playing horribly. If they were winning games, he'd get more publicity. And well, if he played for the Red Sox/Yankees as well.
August 23, 200719 yr I tend not to get excited by phenoms, guys have to do it a least 2 years to prove value to me....one good season (ie. Brady Anderson) don't make a career.... you would think Rick Ankiel is Mickey Mantle with the coverage ESPN is giving him, he's only been up what 2 weeks! he could end up being a .216 career hitter for all we know.....
