November 4, 200718 yr You're officially a LSU or SEC homer in my book if you think the SEC is the best conference going right now or that LSU is one of the top two teams in the country. Any team with a competent QB wins that Alabama game going away with the way that LSU played. I'd absolutely take Oregon (the best team in the country, IMHO) or Missouri over LSU of the 1 loss teams and I think its a joke that any Tiger fan calls out Ohio State or Kansas as not being on the same level. As biased as his opinion may have been from the beginning, BeefWillingham has been 100% correct and prophetic in his analysis of the SEC. Overrated.

November 4, 200718 yr Pac-10 is definitely the best conference. There are 12 teams in the SEC. All but 2 have 3+ losses. Just because you beat on each other doesn't make you awesome. It makes you mediocre.

Or do you even have one? Ohio State is ranked #1, but does anyone believe they will win the National Championship game this year? I think the #1 team should be the one most likely to win the game that matters. I'm not talking about the computer, it works on stats and OSU is #1 there. I'm talking about the polls. Do you actually feel Ohio State will be #1 to end the season?

November 4, 200718 yr If you go undefeated, in a BCS conference, you deserve to play for the national championship. Period. I would take OSU to be competitive/win against any team in the country at this point except Oregon who I feel could possibly clean their's and anyone's clock right now. I have ZERO idea what last year has to do with anything except your dumb perception.
