I'm not worried about Carl tonight. As long as he doesn't have a meltdown early,(and jack will pull him before that happens) he's a stud.

 

We just have to bust out of our hitting slump. We've gone through them a lot this year, but the middle of the order has to come through. Lee should not be batting 5th-maybe move Jeff up. How about starting a bench guy? mordecai, hollandsworth?? Maybe that would be too much of a panic move now, but at least we need to make a lineup change or 2.

 

Yankees have a lot holes--middle relief pitching is one obvious flaw so getting Clemons out early is key. Red Sox battled back by getting both Petite and Clemons out early.

 

Yankees defense is weak, but we have to hit the ball to exploit a slow outfield, poor defense at 1st and 3rd,etc.

Tonight is the biggest must-win game the Marlins have had this playoffs without facing elimination.

We CAN'T screw this game up! Hopefully, Pavs will play with all his might and kick some a**. I think Lee should be in the bottom of the batting lineup with AGon. He's horrible. :thumbdown
