January 22, 200818 yr Put the stadium on Watson Island we'll defenitely get a view!! Yeah, it's too bad the Chalk's seaplanes ain't there no more. Still a great view.
January 22, 200818 yr What doomed Watson Island was the construction of the new Children's Museum right in the center of the island, making large scale development on the site impossible. Having nothing to do with the Marlins moving to Bi-Centennial Park, I never understood (although I do sorta because it's adjacent to the PAC) why the two museums to be built there weren't located on Watson Island to you would have all three museums in one spot sharing parking and building a "destination".
