its ridiculous to think DS wouldnt have sold out for the giants/fins game...if nothing else, there would have been alot of new yorkers who bought up the remaining seats

I am sure the game would have sold out. But look back the past 10 years and the crowds are not as strong as they should be. I mean, they didnt even sell out their last two playoff games. The past few years there have been 20,000 no shows for games at the end of september. Games usually dont sell out until a day before the game or are bought up by one of the tv stations.

 

However, on a national level I will say the dolphins have a very strong following. They also have a large following in Europe which is a reason why they were selected. Another reason, maybe the main reason, was that they voluntered to give up a home game and play one over ther.
