March 17, 200818 yr Showing off his baseball card Lasorda got a nice standing O Fredi & I Cup Check H2R Always a good time at Dodgertown.
March 17, 200818 yr Nice pics. Don't remember seeing you there. But there was actually quite a few Marlins fans there. I'm gonna miss that place as it is right now. Did you get the lunch box? I'm sending mine to my dad. He was born and raised in Brooklyn and was a big Dodgers fan back then. Even got to see #42 play some ball.
March 17, 200818 yr Funny thing about that lunch box. There were alot of Dodger fans telling us that because we were Marlins fans we didn't deserve to have them. I just kept telling them if they got there earlier they would have gotten one for themselves. "Come late, leave early" is the Dodger fan credo.
March 17, 200818 yr With the exception of the Yankees, this is our last Marlins ST game. We are going to Lakeland next Sunday to say bye and thanks to DTrain and Miggy. My biggest two takes on this game...Miller still worries me, but I bet he was great at dodge ball growing up. LOL That first inning was a bit scarey. After the second ball just about hit him I said maybe he should turn sideways after he throws because you can barely see him that way. I hope Maybin likes Tex-Mex food. He will start the season in AAA. Bad routes to fly balls, bobbling balls hit to him, and unable to hit off speed stuff. I got the feeling he lacks the concentration. After he bobbled and dropped that fly ball on the slide (2nd inning I believe and hurt Millers line), Gonzalez showed him how it's done. Twice. I thought they would ring him up for an error. He had it in his glove. Twice. He also badly bobbled a single that was bouncing in front of him a little later in the game. He kept it in front of him and it didn't really mean anything, but... You can see he definetly has all the potential. He's just not ready yet.

Gonzo was killing the ball in BP, and Dolphins Staidiums own "The Elephant Beer Man" dowsed a lady in water and ice when he lifted his metal beer tin, which the crowd had a field day with and the lady got a free beer ($6.25) GEEEEEEEEET YOOOOO COOLLD BEEEEER HERRR. Maybin did not look good yesterday, he took some wickid hacks on breaking balls. Miller did move with the wind, but to his credit still made the play on that comebacker. Was a good time, sad to see the Dodgers go.

Didn't catch that through the articles that I ready today and yesterday. I hope to see Maybin called up by July though. You just can't ignore De Aza's performance right now. Really getting it done in all aspects.
