Seconds start was today against Seattle. 8 innings, 2 hits, 0 ER, 4 walkers , 6 k's

The talent and potential have been there... he WAS once a top prospect... he could be starting to put it together

lots of potential.

I think he's way better than what his #'s were last year. I've always thought that.

He could be like the next Fausto Carmona. Comes out of nowhere, with great stuff, and does well this year.

I dropped him a couple days ago, and picked up Jered Weaver. I like Jackson's potential, but it's not a "sure thing."

 

You could get him, and see what he does next start. Who knows? Could be a steal...

Even though it's only a 6 team league, you're telling me nobody drafted Jered Weaver? Even though he only won 13 games last year, he did post an ERA under 4. In his rookie year he posted an ERA in the 2.50 area. It's just kinda surprising that he didn't get drafted initially. Great pickup for you.

Your right it isnt a sure thing. Maybe I will hold off for a bit. I can only make 40 moves in the season I have already made 5 and I have Gallardo coming off the DL tomorrow I think.

Well, from the sounds of it, your staff should be pretty solid as it is, I don't think Jackson (or Miller) would make your staff better enough to warrant the moves

yea wit the Dodgers he was big prospect, had a horrible year last year. good to see that hes starting to turn it around.
