May 23, 200818 yr With Jones coming up do you guys think we will see a good amount of Alfredo at 3B. I am not bashing Cantu, (hes been solid) but Alfredo would be such an upgrade defensively. I really beleive the team's biggest weakness is the D and it really has to improve. Yea it might take away a little pop but dont you guys think a little offesnive lost would be worth a very big defensive gain. I think it would be a really good idea to play Alfredo alot more at 3B
May 23, 200818 yr I think it all depends on what Jones brings o the team offensively. If he can make up for the offense of Cantu, then maybe they'd try it occasionally, but ultimately I think the plan will be for Amezaga to stay the utility guy, coming in for defense late anywhere in the IF, including 3B obviously. I wouldn't expect him to ever become the starting 3B.
