Pretty weird, eh? I saw that this morning but cannot figure out if it is in fact an authentic 1997 trophy or not... Unless some player from the 1997 team is in pretty bad shape finacially speaking and sold it... last I heard Daulton filed for bankruptcy... could it be?

There's 50 of them, so they don't all go to players.

i don't understand why the ring goes for more than the trophy

i feel so stupid because i honestly didnt know that they gave a trophy to all the players. i thought they just got the rings.

Well, when a team's run as NHL champions are over they have to relinquish their trophy, and every player, coach, and front office exec get 24 hours with the cup.

I still think they only give it to a couple players
