August 15, 200817 yr When he went to the DL he was the 2nd worst pitcher (based on ERA+) in the league. As I said it woudln't take much if anything to do better than that. If you think it's hard to replace a guy with an ERA+ of 74 then we'll just have to disagree. Dontrelle Willis can't even maintain a great ERA+ in A ball. Miller was inconsistent...however, he pitched well in his wins (1.12 ERA in his 5 wins). Dontrelle...nothing. So yes, we'd have at least 5 less wins, right now.
