Not bad. Good info, a bit too carried away with commas (sometimes it's better to just start another sentence) and "sayings in quotation marks" though. I don't know how familiar you are with AP Style, or maybe you were just treating this more as a casual article, but any numbers less than 10 are spelled out, not written as numbers. I know you are interested in the journalism field, so I thought I'd just throw that out there. Otherwise, the tone of the article fits the site: Very casual and laid-back. No problems with that.

BTW, I do have a bachelor's degree in Journalism with a minor in English, so I figured I'd take the opportunity to help a fellow wordsmith out :)

Thanks

And I noticed the commas thing too. I just got caught up in the appositives, in the sentences, and I went overboard in one of the sentences. And yeah...I wrote "1" instead of "one," I believe.

Again, thanks, for the advice.

not gonna lie... i;m drunk and read two paragraphs and it passed as decent some what funny i suppose. Drops. I'll read it sober too :drunks

read it this morning and as people as saying to many commas. Overall though it isn't bad and I like the flow of the article.

Thanks guys. I'll watch out for the commas next time.

I hope you guys enjoyed the main idea of the article, though.

That said, I use a whole bunch of commas too.
