He will be 37 next year...give him a contract, and let him retire, as a Marlin.

 

I think the only position we really have a problem with is catcher. Not really worried about much else; even if we lose some players, we can replace them through our farm system, imo.

 

 

Catcher is the only positioon we have to do something about, but it would be nice to get a good 1B/3B and upgrade at RF and LF.

 

 

Hermida will be the RF'er, and I think he'll only get better as he gets older (as most players who haven't reached their prime do).

 

I hope Cantu stays next year; preferrably as a 1B, though. Will McPherson ever get a shot for what it's worth? Would it be terrible to see him competing (at least) for the 3B job next Spring Training?

 

I think Hermida stays in RF, if they can sign Cantu he would be at 1B, I think McPherson will have competition, but will get the job. And then we really need a catcher more than anything else.
