Helms plays a bigger role than many see.

Wes Helms has played a huge role for the Florida Marlins this year, both offensively and defensively.

It seems to me (not looking at stats, because that would be silly) that whenever he is in the lineup we do better.

I hope Fredi is smart with his lineup choices tomorrow, it could ultimately determine the outcome of the game.

:gofish

With Hamels pitching, I think it's almost a guarantee that Jacobs sits. That would get Helms in the lineup.

Why yes, of course!

As a matter of fact, lets not mention that s word anymore.

The S word is meaningless. :whistle As a matter of fact, the letter S is meaningless because of the word, itself. :| If your name starts with an S, it stands for sucker. Only suckers search for the S word. :thumbup

I'd rather have McPherson in his roster spot.

I disagree.

We wouldn't have a right-handed bat on the bench.

I agree, he is one of our better defensive players. He usually makes contact, so he is good at moving runners up. He also is a very good pinch-hitter, and he has come up with some big pinch-hits in his time as a Marlin.
