We could have kept him on there if he was healthy IRL, and just say he had an injury Which I think would have been a good idea, shut him down. Doing that also means we could add him to the 60 day DL, opening a slot on the 40 man. Although, I think Treanor's injury is serious enough to put him on the 60 day? so that opens up a slot there. But, the FO isn't interested in shutting him down, so they brought him back.

If he's healthy, there's no reason to try and get him back out there and see if he can build some confidence back up.
September 9, 200817 yr I would think it is a forefront to shutting Chris down after tonight's game and moving Andrew into the starting rotation.
