Marlins get some love in Fox Power Rankings

Top 3 as in they are each top 3 in their position.

Ramirez, reyes and then rollins/jeter/etc

Beltran, sizemore and hamilton/granderson/ichiro

A Rod, wright and chipper/ramirez/youkilis

Wright has a very strong argument for top 3, and even that conversation has A-Rod, Chipper, Ramirez, Youklis, and Longoria in it.

Hamilton is currently better than Beltran and stands to improve through his prime and Beltran stands to begin a decline due to age. Sizemore is currently better and also stands to improve.

Reyes, despite being an excellent short stop, is not top 3

See now that's just plain stupid talk.

Reyes is easily the 2nd or 3rd best shortstop in baseball and Beltran is THE BEST center fielder in baseball. Josh Hamilton isn't even going to be a centerfielder anymore but he doens't even come close to Beltran as an all around player. Look at his splits my man then come talk to me. Sizemore is going to be better probably within the next two years but he's not currently better then Beltran.

Career OPS+

Sizemore: 125

Beltran: 118

Why do I care what he has done for his career other then the mets.

Beltran's OPS with Mets is 125 as well. And over the past 3 years, 135! I mean come on now. And last year he had double knee surgery and played with a rookie 3rd basemen in left field and a guy who has been out of baseball for 3 years in right field!

Perhaps you should've twisted your words in your original post to say so then. I can't really read your mind, so pardon me.

Don't talk splits to justify Beltran. Beltrans v. RHP is comparable to Hamilton's v. LHP, and in case you haven't noticed, there are more RHP out there. Beltran is a great player, that should be entering his decline, Hamilton and Sizemore are already matching him at the plate and are just entering their prime. Lets not even get started on guys like Granderson and McLouth who should eclipse Beltran soon (just due to age). Beltran can certainly play CF, so if you think defense is better than a 10% value consideration, then I guess he gets some extra credit for that.

Looking at last season, Reyes certain looked like a top 3 guy, and really in any other era he would be, but 2008 is a statistical outlier, I remain to be convinced.

I'm taking stats so I know what outlier means!

But seriously, Jose Reyes' best season all around was 2006, his best first half was definitely 2007 1st half and his best finish to a sesason(minus septmeber :( ) was last year. He's only going to get better.

Don't justify Beltran, how do you compare home and way to left and right stats? It's PROOF, Josh Hamilton benefits massively because he plays in Texas. I mean, it's not a bad thing he plays in Texas but imagine if Beltran played in Texas. Hamilton had a 1.000+ ops at home a sub 800 ops away, that's a huge difference and you know it.

No park is worth .200 OPS, so that is a sample size abberation.

Now thats just stupid talk

Hanley, Rollins, Young, Reyes, Jeter in that order

And as much as it hurts me since im Puerto Rican and i love Beltran but he's not the best CF as of right now it is Josh Hamilton, Beltran and the Sizemore Granderson etc.

Hamilton shouldn't even be playing CF so it's a rather moot point. His marginally better offense does not deterrent from his horrible defense to the other 3 that are (real, not rawlings) gold glove contenders.

Sizmore v.s. Beltran v.s. Granderson makes a more interesting scenerio. However, the question is RIGHT NOW, not RIGHT NOW to 2015. So I'd probably pick Beltran.

Jimmy Rollins better then Reyes! HAHA! Defensively definitely JRoll can be given the slight advantage but you gotta be kidding me that JRoll is better then Reyes right now. He's another guy who benefits greatly for playing in Citizen's bank.
