OK, first trip ever to Boston for road trip for me and daughter, I got my tix for June 17 and 18th. I have a list of places to stay-but can anyone give me first hand knowledge of some hotels to stay at. Thanks in advance. Where does the team stay?

There's a HoJo right by Fenway - not swanky but convenient.

 

Coply Place is within about a mile - hotels & upscale shopping.

 

Downtown is too far IMO (and too congested) - it's easy to get there to look around on the T.

 

If you don't want to pay stadium prices, there a Walgreens just past the RF stands that sells cheap hats/shirt/allthingsSawx.

I wouldnt stay at the HoJo, theres not that much to do around there after the games, IMO.

 

I would rather stay in the back bay area. Its a very nice area and has a central location. You can walk to fenway as well as the downtown area.

Thanks-the red sox office mentioned the commonwealth. I will look in to the back bay area also.
