Ramirez - .318 AVG .423 OBP .500 SLG 0 HR 1 RBI

Hermida - .350 AVG .381 OBP .400 SLG 0 HR 1 RBI

Miller - 1 W 0 L 3.60 ERA 1.60 WHIP 5 IP 4 BB 4 K

Previous Winners

Week 1 (April 6-12) - Emilio Bonifacio

Week 2 (April 13-19) - Cody Ross

Week 3 (April 20-26) - Cody Ross

Week 4 (April 27-May 3) - Jorge Cantu

Week 5 (May 4-May 10) - Hanley Ramirez

I'd say Andrew Miller. He got us our only win.

A pretty poor cast for this week's award. I will have to vote for Cody for providing some hope for the future at the end of yesterday's game by breaking up the no-hitter and then hitting a grand slam.

Cody is trying to capture his 3rd FOTW in 6 weeks of the season and got my vote.

Despite Cody only hitting .225, he is currenly on pace for 25 HR and 98 RBI so things will be looking pretty damn good when he finally gets that average up!

Cody 'Big Baby' Ross

EB* for his career-high hitting streak and because everyone else hates him because he can't hit/can't get on base/can't defend/can't steal/can't bunt/ruined Cameron Maybin/ruined Gaby Sanchez/released Dallas McPherson/was involved in Sept 11th/personally finances Eddie Murphy's "movies"/raped their daughter's pet guinea pig...

(*can't help it, it's the English in me, we love underdogs and hate anyone who's successful)

Was mentioning 9/11 really that necessary JRD?

Jeez, what are you now? The taste police? If it's okay for Family Guy and South Park, I'm sure I ain't hurting no one. And have you seen Cloverfield? The vast majority of Americans are grown ups who don't wail and throw thunderbolts if you mention 9/11; same as I don't wail if someone mentions 7/7, or the countless IRA atrocities I lived through as a kid.

Let's not go there, so peace, bro. And Emilio Bonifacio rocks.

you didn't know what 9/11 was until 2004.

Is that supposed to make sense?

Have to go with Ross. I was glad to see that Miller didn't suck too bad in his first return start. We'll see if he can keep this up, but his track record says otherwise.
