August 25, 200916 yr need some advice on a trade. I give Matt Schaub, Wes Welker, Adrian Peterson. I get Peyton Manning, Desean Jackson, Maurice Jones-Drew thoughts? I know AP is the top RB but Drew is good aswell. Manning is an upgrade over Schaub and I really don't know much on Jackson.
August 25, 200916 yr I would do it just b/c Peyton Manning is a huge upgrade over Matt Schaub. AP is great, but Maurice Jones-Drew might be better this year, when you factor in the Vikings pass offense won't be as bad this upcoming year (less carries for AP, perhaps), and with Fred Taylor leaving Jacksonville, MJD now definitely becomes an every-down back, who can do it all. DeSean Jackson will be part of the Philadelphia offense. He won't be as good as Welker (who might be the most underrated WR in fantasy football), but you gotta give to get. Who are your WR's?
August 25, 200916 yr Dont take the gamble on MJD. and it depends... is the league a point-per-reception league? If it is, Wes Welker is one of the top WR's.
August 25, 200916 yr Also is it a keeper league? If so then Manning, MJD and Jackson could all be legitimate keepers whereas only AP on the other side is a definate keeper (a case could be made for Welker depending on your situation)
August 26, 200916 yr Author my other WR's are Andre Johnson, Santana Moss, Bernard Berrian (on the bench), Dominek Hixon (on the bench). I think I am going to do the trade. Manning will be a great upgrade of schaub and theres no points for receptions so that lowers Welker's value a bit.
