October 2, 200917 yr Have had bad experiences with both DirecTV and Dish Network customer services. I have nothing nice to say about them.
October 3, 200917 yr I never had a good deal with CS from either Comcast or DirecTV. Hell, you can add Bellsouth/AT&T into that mix of bad CS from data services.
October 6, 200917 yr Author When it comes to NFL games, does Dish offer any package that has all/most games? The Sunday Ticket was the only reason I even ordered the service. I figured I'd want to watch all 16 Jets games for once. However, I don't know if I will want to pay the $300 or so next year.
October 6, 200917 yr Author Dish doesn't have Sunday Ticket or something like it because DirecTV has exclusive rights to it. If you want Sunday Ticket, you have to use DirecTV. The only thing Dish has is Red Zone, but that just switches between games. - http://www.dishnetwork.com/redirects/promotion/offer4/default.aspx
October 7, 200917 yr you are stuck with DTV if you want the package - i've found all my providers in the past to have crap service the nice thing about DTV is they will kiss your butt a little over their bad service just threaten to cancel and then start venting to the retentions person they put on the line - don't take the first offer give a call and vent a little - say that you're disapointed over XYZ and to top if off you can't even watch that college football game you wanted to see or some local hockey coverage on versus due to that dispute this year I was able to get superfan added on for free and $20 CR to my bill each month for 6 months
October 8, 200917 yr Author I complained to a supervisor about how they had promised I'd have baseball channels but didn't. He said "Well, if someone is interested in watching baseball, why would they want to watch the month left of it?" then gave me a number to cancel. I was furious but kept the service since I did want the Sunday Ticket. I also asked one representative if they had LMN or SNY and she asked me to spell that. :lol Do they just like to hire retards or something?
October 9, 200917 yr My parents got lucky and ordered CBSE, the New York feed, before it became illegal to order a local network which isn't your local feed. We pay $1/month to keep it, so we got grandfathered in and were lucky. I'm pretty sure that, now, the only way to watch Jets games that aren't on national T.V. is by buying the entire package, which is quite expensive. There are always sports bars!

I was reading online that you can call and negotiate the price of sunday ticket. People were getting it for around $150.
