October 25, 200915 yr Well when he was hired by the Nats, he was considered one of the top managerial candidates in baseball. Obviously he didn't have much talent to work with in Washington, so while they were bad, I don't think he can take too much of that blame. There is only so much a manager can do with a bad roster. The more more Marlins-relevent question is whether Randy St. Claire is joining him in Cleveland?
October 25, 200915 yr http://sports.espn.g...tory?id=4593663 Am I the only one confused about this move? I'm not. I have heard many people inside the game say Acta has the potential to be a great manager. You really can't blame him for what happened in Washington.
October 25, 200915 yr YES! I was scared when I heard he was one of the top 4 choices for the Astros job.
November 5, 200915 yr I'm a diehard Indians fan and I am very upset with this. They should have either kept Wedge or brought back Mike Hargrove who wanted the job. My team is doomed.
