April 20, 201016 yr It was because the Mets were away last week and last night was the first game back since Jackie's day and they wanted to honor him. So they made last night Jackie Robinson night at Citi Field, which is home to the Jackie Robinson Rotunda . Rachel Robinson, Jackie's wife, was there as well.
