  1. What alot of us fail to realize is that the "Stand your ground" law simply says you can meet force with force, including deadly force. It doesn't say meet deadly force with force. It allows Force to be met with Deadly force. If you hit me with a paper ball from 20 feet away, I can legally pull out a gun and shoot you dead on the spot. Legally. No. But don't let the facts get in the way of this, or the rest of your drivel. Do yourself a favor and go read up on the laws. Here, I'll even help: 776.012 Use of force in defense of person.—A person is justified in using force, except deadly force, against another when and to the extent that the person reasonably believes that such conduct is necessary to defend himself or herself or another against the other’s imminent use of unlawful force. However, a person is justified in the use of deadly force and does not have a duty to retreat if: (1) He or she reasonably believes that such force is necessary to prevent imminent death or great bodily harm to himself or herself or another or to prevent the imminent commission of a forcible felony; Way to come off as completely unknowledgeable. Anyway, what this case hinges on will be this part of the law: 776.041 Use of force by aggressor.—The justification described in the preceding sections of this chapter is not available to a person who: (1) Is attempting to commit, committing, or escaping after the commission of, a forcible felony; or (2) Initially provokes the use of force against himself or herself, unless: (a) Such force is so great that the person reasonably believes that he or she is in imminent danger of death or great bodily harm and that he or she has exhausted every reasonable means to escape such danger other than the use of force which is likely to cause death or great bodily harm to the assailant; or (b) In good faith, the person withdraws from physical contact with the assailant and indicates clearly to the assailant that he or she desires to withdraw and terminate the use of force, but the assailant continues or resumes the use of force. Zimmerman will be painted as an aggressor by the prosecution for going against what the police told him to do. And then they will try to prove that Zimmerman did not try every reasonable means of escape from the altercation.
  2. Right Field Bullpen Suite (known as the "Clevelander SRO") No it's not. Clevelander SRO entitles you to sit at the bar and mill around the Clevelander in the left field area. There are no free amenities there, aside from barely clothed women. What you are showing a picture of in Right Field is a 60 person suite that is rented out on a game by game basis to parties where they serve food and drinks as part of that package.
  3. It looks like the game isn't on TV here in NC. So lame. But of course we the Red Wings game and the Penguins game. On the NHL Network.Or, if that is not an option, you should be able to find it online.
  4. Thanks Admin. For whatever reason I couldn't find it on the site, and when I ran a google search Google was convinced I meant Sun Life. And FotF, I want to bring my 300mm zoom lens as well as a 50mm prime, so that is good info, thanks. Penguino, I haven't been able to figure that out myself. The place I have been hassled the most down here has been at Dolphins training camp of all things. Not only are they iffy about cameras there, but they tell people not to twitter (I guess it is to protect stuff they are working on, but anyone could just send a scout. It is really just overkill). The Panthers have also changed their camera policy recently to make it much more stringent. I think part of it is that consumer cameras now can achieve professional like results and they want to protect the brand.
  5. I'm going to go to the homestand this weekend and it'll be my first time in the new stadium and I'd like to take some picture. Do any of you know if they allow dSLRs and if there are any restrictions on lenses and stuff like that? I only ask because the team's website only lists Sun Life's policy, not the policy, if any, for the new stadium. Thanks.
  6. Any of you guys know how much they are going to charge for parking? I read the team at one point said a "minimum of $15," but it could be up to $30. If it is going to be $30 I don't want to park over there and would like to plan ahead.
  7. I have a feeling that a lot of people are going to blame Penn St., at least subconsciously, for causing "undue" stress and accelerating his death. He kind of caused the stress himself. If he wasn't a pedo-enabler he wouldn't have been but under such stress. Who knows, maybe hiding what he knew for so long literally ate at him. Jerry Sandusky lost a friend today.
  8. Yea, Jets lost, Bengals win. But I don't think Bengals clinched anything. I think the Jets can win next week and make the playoffs if the Bengals lose. Jets need to win and then have both the Bengals and the Titans to lose.
  9. Source? 3/3 movies are never good. There is always 1 disappointed. Clearly you are not familiar with the Look at What Fits in There Now series of films. Each one is more enthralling than the last. And each time you think "no, nothing bigger can fit in there"..... SOMETHING DOES.
  10. Either way, I think the guy is an Greedy a$$hole Yeah, dude wants to maximize his earnings, truly an evil man. I hope you always turn down any raises you are ever offered, 'cuz I'd hate for others to think you are being greedy.
  11. I really wish Pujols was like 80% of big name free agents. You know, the ones who sign towards the start of the free agency period. Oh, wait.....
  12. At least Joan Miro won't be doing anything for the stadium as she died in 1983 at the age of 90 :whistle :banghead
  13. Lets see what happens in the next few days. $3.4 million a year is a lot to turn down. However, he could probably get that from an NFL team. If its not Gruden, then who? Apparently he makes upwards of $5 million doing what he does already, so why take a pay cut?
  14. TAMPA, Fla. - A close friend of Jon Gruden said Sunday night that Gruden has not accepted the job at the University of Miami and "doesn't believe it would be the right fit." The source said he expects Gruden to remain at ESPN or eventually take an NFL head coaching job. "These reports are ridiculous," FanHouse's source said Sunday night. Following FanHouse's report, Gruden issued a statement later Sunday night through ESPN. "I am committed to Monday Night Football and to ESPN. I enjoy working with Mike (Tirico), Jaws (Ron Jaworski) and our entire crew and am just trying to get better at this job." http://ncaafootball.fanhouse.com/2010/11/28/fanhouse-source-jon-gruden-to-miami-reports-are-ridiculous/ Keep dreamin' Canes fans.
