Our bullpen sucks, great pitcher throwing well, hasn't thrown 90 pitches, just finished off the meat of the order, can hit better than some of our bench players. And it's not like Carroll got on base......How does it not make sense to leave him in.

 

He can't actually hit better than our PHers, that was a joke.

 

AND YOU'RE PLAYING THE RESULT AGAIN. Don't play the result, it's not how the world works. When you're down by 1 in the 7th, facing of the hottest bullpens in the league you HAVE to replace the pitcher with a PHer.

No problem with that, a lot of people hate the coach (I think he's okay, he's pretty damn good when it comes to position player moves but not so good with relievers). I just think that move was clearly the correct one.

 

I actually think the move with Pinto was the right one too (sadly, it had to be Pinto. We really need a LOOGY).

It's an "unwritten rule" of the forum – the person who started the previous game's thread must start the next if the Marlins won that game. It's all done in good fun, but some here are kinda superstitious about it.

 

So... since they lost today, feel free to start the game thread tomorrow. :cool
