November 16, 200322 yr At least we won but not very happy with the performance of the offense. (And yes I know it was against one of the top defenses in the league) But still Griese looked terrible and Randy dropped a very easy ball which Griese placed perfectly in his hands, probably the best pass of the game. Which would have probably ended that game.
November 16, 200322 yr it was ugly BUT ill take it. Go Cowboys tonight, get us back within a game of 1st place. 6-4 is a hell of a lot better than 5-5
November 16, 200322 yr Very tru. Go Cowboys. Even though I think the Pats are going to win. :confused
November 16, 200322 yr Tuna's team is going to beat the crap out of those phony Boston/New England/I Don't Belong Patriots.
November 17, 200322 yr we won-but we have to fix alot of things. like what, marlins? :o offense-and we cant drop those easy and important passes-and we have 2 make those field goals in games like this one.
November 17, 200322 yr this team has what it takes to be a champion but i think its to late now-but you never know.
November 17, 200322 yr offense-and we cant drop those easy and important passes-and we have 2 make those field goals in games like this one. If you fix the Oline, you fix the offense.
November 17, 200322 yr offense-and we cant drop those easy and important passes-and we have 2 make those field goals in games like this one. If you fix the Oline, you fix the offense. griese has some throws that were way off target-and he has some great throws also that were dropped-where is the O line in that?
November 17, 200322 yr surprisingly, the pass blocking didn't look so horrendous today. i think norv actually grew a brain and actually gave them some help. i wish i could say the run-blocking didn't suck today... although for some reason it didn't seem as abysmal as it was against the colts & titans. what a horrendous run day.
November 17, 200322 yr It's nice that the Fins finally won and all, but this game was pretty much another negative for me. I have Super Bowl dreams, and they didn't look even a step closer to the Big Game today. Another sorry performance by the offense. There is no magical cure for the offense line. The players stink. No help is coming. I still don't think the Fins will make the playoffs. They'll just miss out on the 6th seed, which the Broncos will take. I've been wrong before, I suppose, but this is the Dolphins we're talking about. There may be no team more predictable in all of pro sports.
November 17, 200322 yr Miami will be fighting with denver for a wildcard spot if so-i think denver will win.
November 17, 200322 yr I was at the race today, so I didn't get to watch the game. However from what I saw from the highlights, the O line needs serious help, Ricky Williams while he broke 100 yards needs to do more and Griese....well Griese needs to be more consistant. Other than that, it was a great win for the Dolphins.
November 17, 200322 yr i don't think there were any griese followers on this board to begin with (besides giantsin04). there were mostly a bunch of people who could agree that jay fiedler is a horrendous quarterback (nothing has changed there), and that brian griese was worth a shot. i, for one, thought getting griese was a mistake, but he certainly deserved a shot considering how terrible jay was playing. now everyone got to see that brian sucks, too. if the pass protection can hold up for next week, i'd rather see brian start. if it's going to suck again, we're better off with a more mobile QB (jay). either way, we lose. hopefully the QB market is good this offseason....
November 17, 200322 yr Solid win for you guys yesterday. Against a great Defense. But as far as your offense goes, I think you all knew that if you guys win big this year you'll win big off of your defense not your offense. You guys seem to be the kind of team that only needs 17-20 points per game to pull it out. And thats alot better then my Pack needing to score 24-28 per game to win. Because it shows that you guys can play D. Good job and I applaud the Fins for a great win against a good team. (I actually watched that game play for play along with the Bears/Rams game before the Pack/TB) *applauds Fins* Who said every win would be pretty?
