May 19, 201016 yr The Florida Marlins have suspended right-handed pitcher Ryan Tucker indefinitely. Tucker, who is currently in Triple-A New Orleans, is on the 40-man roster, for the time being, and was looking to get called back up to the big leagues sometime this season. The 23 year-old has given up seven runs in two of his last three starts for the Zephyrs, running his ERA up to over 6. It is to be believed that left-handed pitcher Hunter Jones will take his spot in the Z's rotation. It is not totally clear as to what the 2005 first rounder did, but it seems to have been pretty bad for the Marlins to take such extreme measures. His case will be re-evaluated in two weeks by Marlins' brass. I'll provide a link when one is available to me.
May 19, 201016 yr Author This may have to do with something that happened during the game yesterday. Apparently he got into some sort of verbal confrontation with the umpire. Not sure if that has anything to do with it, just something to look at.

May 20, 201016 yr Why would he be "out indefinitely" for arguing with an umpire? There has to be more to it.
May 20, 201016 yr I'm thinking there was more to this, like a clubhouse confrontation or something. Hence him not being around to talk about it after the game.
