Good luck matching up with Nick Mangold for 4 quarters now

Tough break for the Phins.

Um, we have Randy Starks to boss Nick Mangold around.

Good luck trying to "boss" around the best center in football with an average DT.

Check your facts. This "average" DT is a top 5 3-4 DE. He bossed around Jason Brown while playing NT against the Ravens in the playoffs. I'm sure he'll be fine against Mangold. They're have their battles.

Randy Starks was Pro Bowl caliber last year at DE.

Although it's gonna be hard to pass rush the entire Jets O-Line with guys like Odrick/Merling/Landford coming after them. That trio hardly is gonna strike fear into the opponents eyes.

Anyway, there have been rumblings about Ferguson retiring for two years now. Apparently his injury history is catching up to him, but regardless 13 years is definitely a long time. Dude had a nice run, now it's time to let Starks and Soliai get time at NT.

Also, to DB's comments

Ferguson insisted in May that his suspension came from taking, not steroids, but a blood pressure medication with a diuretic that helped him make his target weight. Still, he blamed himself -- ``me being lazy'' -- for not checking the banned substance list.
