with the nba season under way....has anyone picked up nba 2k11. i've got it for the ps3 and the game is pretty damn good. all the modes are good and i actually like the ratings system. although the favorite mode is definitely association since it gives me a chance to bring in some good pieces to the kings team and actually win some games.

 

on a side note, not too impressed by the heat on the game.....they only beat me by 2 points against my kings

well of course that beat me, they have 3 guys with a higher rating than my best player. plus it was only one game, i beat the lakers by double digits. anyway you really need to get the game, it's legit and extremely realistic.

jermaine oneal, draft picks, and someone else i can't think of but wasn't very good. such bulls*** because it's not even close to the talent the suns would get for nash. although at least ray allen is injured long term for the celtics

so the bobcats sacked Admin brown after starting the season 0-13. i immediately swooped in and signed him to replace westphal as the coach of the kings. he completes my transformation of the pathetic kings team into a title contending kings team.

Is the Heat team in the game better than the real one? If so maybe the real team should take cues from the game. I'm mostly kidding but considering how the real team is doing and that they're starting to get desperate, why not?

The Game is amazing.

 

My Player is addicting and I love the endorsements and how the Organization actually talks to you through the Black Guy (no racial) in the bottom of the screen.

 

I'm a PG on the Grizzlies, currently the Backup to Conoley and the Organization asked me if we should go out and trade for Ramon Sessions who's on the block. I said hell no and they denied the trade.

 

Also I love the interviews and they should be incorporated more next year adding in pre game and halftime interviews as well and even off season interviews if they aren't in the game already.

Oh man, just had a crazy game with my player. I'm on the Bulls and facing the Rockets. Kevin Martin was going off in the game and scoring on me all night. Rockets were up by 2 with 3 seconds left. The ball gets inbounded to me with Martin guarding me. I said out loud "f*** you Martin" and sink a 3 to win the game. I almost cried in happiness.

I dropped 60 on the Bulls... Derrick Rose fouled out and I made Watson my bitch.

I scrapped my team and started all over again. It was a good team but I don't think it was championship worthy. So I went out and got some other players instead.

 

1. Kings-Pacers trade

Kings get: Granger, Foster, Hansbrough, future 2nd rounder

Pacers get: Dalembert, Iverson (signed on 1 yr deal), Antoine Wright, future 1st rounder

- This is a salary dump trade for the pacers. they get 2 expiring contracts in dalembert and iverson along with a 1st rounder to sweeten the deal. This allows the pacers to build for their future by getting picks and alot of cap space

Kings get: Deron Williams

Hawks get: Tyreke, Casspi, Foster (from Pacers), 1st rounder

- Deron has become a bad apple in utah and there is a huge possibility he leaves in free agency. In this trade the jazz get good talent back in tyreke, casspi, a high 1st rounder, and foster as a toss in to make the salaries match

Kings get: Nene

Blazers get: Admin Hughes (signed on 1 yr deal), Stephon Marbury (signed on 1 yr deal), future 2nd rounder (from Pacers)

- This is the only trade that borders being unrealistic. Nene becomes a frontcourt partner for cousins and pacers get some good role players in return along with a draft pick. Nene might leave in the offseason anyway which could make sense for the nuggets to make this trade.

i've had 3 consecutive monster games with my fave player demarcus cousins.

I think NBA 2k11 is the best basketball game out there. I usually play My Player most the time. Like how I can get endorsed by Jordan, I've already hooked up being on my first billboard, first SI cover, and i have designed my own Jordan shoe. I originally got drafted by the Knicks but got traded around and finally stayed with the Heat and won ROY averaging 18 ppg, 5 apg, 4 rpg. We also won the NBA finals and i was named MVP. the winners in the game travel to the White House and take corny pics with B.O. The FO also asked who they should sign over the offseason. Sweet game
