5) Torborg sucks - leaves Tejera in one batter too many...I did not want him in against Thome and he gives up rbi single

Foolish comment - Tejera was brought in because of the lefties - Abreu and Thome - Torborg took him out at exactly the right time. It wasn't Torborg's fault Tejera gave up a hit. You don't bring in a righty to pitch to a lefty.

 

One could argue bringing in Nunez instead of Spooneybarger was a mistake but leaving in Tejera was a sound baseball decision.

How is it foolish when Tejera is struggling and then the big bats come up....How is it foolish when Tejera gives up the rbi hit to Thome....

 

 

Torborg is not quick enough to bring in someone else to get the job done...period....

 

So if a reliever is pitching like crap, I'm gonna leave him in against the other team's best hitter...that is stupid...Bring in Almanza then if you want lefty versus lefty...or start the inning with Spooney and then bring in Tejera versus Thome...
