Most Surprising NBA player

Featured Replies

i remember watching the blazer-sonics game a few weeks ago i was thinking "who the hell is ronald murray and why does he have 16 points against portland". Baker also is a nice surprise for Boston, he seems to be almost back to his all-star form.

Ronald Murray. Only person close IMO is Redd, and everybody that watches Big 10 basketball already knew that he has skills.

Murray or Arroyo.

Randolph, Anthony, James, and Redd aren't surprises in my book.

Caron Butler?

Please theres way to much bias in that.

I say Flip Murray and Zach Randolph.

But more so Murray because I knew who Randolph was, but when I went to the Wolves/Sonics games a few weeks back at the Target Center I found out who Flip Murray was.

Flip Murray is one of the biggest surprises of all time. Arroyo is good and all, and Randolph took over down the stretch last year, but Murray came out of nowhere and is scoring 24ppg!!!

I think its Ronald Murrary. This guy came out of no where. All the others most people have heard of at least if you follow basketball closely.

Caron Butler.

:o ?

Caron Butler.

:lol

Good one Wildcard. Really though, what's your answer to the question?

Caron Butler.

:lol

Good one Wildcard. Really though, what's your answer to the question? As least someone got my joke (cough: Phlub Marlins02 :cough).

Seeing that he's only averaging 4.0 points and 2 rebounds a game, he's the most suprising player in the NBA this year.

Nobody said it had to be a good suprise...

Caron Butler.

:lol

Nobody said it had to be a good suprise... Ok, well rookies strugle, so i'm not surprised. Butler will be fine, but based on everybody in this poll, i'm guessing that we are trying to figure out who is the most pleasant surprise.

In fact, statistically, he was last seasons best rookie.

am a moron.

I was thinking of D'Wayne Wade, and he's doing well.

I will refrain from speaking for a while.

You have the credibility to screw up.

You have the credibility to screw up. True, but I shall lose that credibility if I make another comment like that :banghead

How about D Wade of the Miami Heat anyone?

This guy is amazing he has a lot of potential.

14.2 ppg seems a little low for him...i believe that number will improve

i had your joke in my head when i posted but caron did miss some time after knee surgery, i dont think anyone seriously thought he was going to jump right in and put up 20 a game. although 4 a game is flatout bad, but he'll recover.

Caron Butler isn't a big surprise if you factor in his knee surgery. I didn't expect him to come in and light em up but he is playing horrible.

Eddie Jones is dropping 20 a night every night...

Could he be turning into that franchise SG that nobody thought he could be?

not when they're 3-11 One player can't do it all...(example: McGrady in Orlando).
