February 29, 201214 yr Hey guys, is there a way to find out which games will have the roof open? thanks
February 29, 201214 yr Depends on the weather that day but it's a pretty good guess that it'll be closed for the majority of games.
February 29, 201214 yr Author Ok thanks. Im planning on buying a ticket for the April 15 game which is a Sunday but I don't know if the roof will be open when its really hot
February 29, 201214 yr If it's really hot or humid, they'll close it. The roof is going to be used to make the games comfortable and not just for rain.
February 29, 201214 yr I would say most of the time they will close the roof. Unless its one of those rare 74 deg 7:00 start time temps with lower humidity. Maybe in april and may... at a stretch , after that forget it.
February 29, 201214 yr I would like to know what the incremental cost of the stadium was to make the roof retract. I understand that permenant domes are a thing of the past, but in a situation like the Marlins have where almost all of their games will be played under a roof, does the cost justify the benefit? Obviously none of this matters now.

Obviously none of this matters now. The roof being retractable allows for the use of natural grass as well as sometimes open on the occasional cool day/night.
