Not sure where this goes so Mods place appropriately please.

Former Major League Baseball player Jai Miller has enrolled at Alabama and intends to play football for the Crimson Tide, BamaOnline reported Monday.

Miller, 27, played briefly for the Florida Marlins (2008), Kansas City Royals (2010) and Oakland A's (2011). The Selma, Alabama, native was drafted by the Marlins in 2003 and decided to pursue professional baseball instead of accepting a football scholarship to Stanford.

Miller played 10 seasons in the minor leagues and had 68 major-league at-bats.

The 6-foot-2, 220-pound Miller is expected to play defensive back for Alabama.

IMO-If he had the grades he should have went to Stanford!

I always wondered, is his first name pronounced "Jeye" (rhymes with "eye") or Jay?

Jay

That's good for him, I guess he didn't see a future in baseball any longer, why not pursue football? Although he's probably a bit late to pursue the NFL after college...
