We all know the story of Manti Te'o, Notre Dame's MLB who fought through the death of his grandmother and his girlfriend to become a national hero en route to multiple awards and second place in this years Heisman race. It appears that the death of his "girlfriend" was all a hoax. There was no "girlfriend." Te'o is claiming he was hoaxed. That he met the girl online and they developed a relationship, that he would speak to her, and they fell in love. He now claims they never met IRL. That is contradicting to what he has said before, as well as what his family had said before these allegations came out. Its looking pretty bad for the linebacker.
