They should both make the team.

so with Lomo out (and assume Silverio is DL), think it's Kotch for 1B and then bench is ...

Mahoney, Skip, Figgins, Petersen, Gorkys...?

maybe use Kearns instead of one of Petey/Gorkys. Both of those guys can play CF if needed but since neither can hit there's probably no point in keeping both. I think Kotch/Mahoney can play a little LF/RF when needed.

someone's going to get a lot of at-bats backing up at 3B, Polanco's back already hurts.

So many great options to pick from!

Mahoney has been the surprise so far and the team needs power so he's making a case. Kotchman has played well, too. Think they both might make it as I said.

Don't see Petey making it. Or Figgins for that matter the way he's played. I'm sure the FO would like to see Figgins turn it around and make it, but he's done nothing so far.

Replace those two with Dobbs and Kearns.

Gorkys will definitely make it. RH hitting OF'er. Backup CF'er. Might platoon with Pierre.

Edit: Just noticed that would leave us without a backup middle infielder, lol. Figgins will probably be on the team by default. Maybe Nick Green. Kearns wouldn't make it in this case. Imo.

Just put Morrison there so he doesn't break again.
