April 2, 201412 yr I just saw Jim Callis of MLB.com reporting that the figures on every team's draft pool were released, and the Marlins ended up with the largest at $14,200,000. Hopefully they can make use of this to get some prep players who might otherwise go to college.
April 2, 201412 yr The Marlins have $6,821,800 to spend on the # 2 pick, They also have $1,573,900 for #36, pick #39 gets $1,457,600, and Pick#43 $1,316,000. The Astros will have the #1 pick for the third straight year and have yet to spend all of the allotted money on their top picks, hopefully the Marlins will be able to spread the wealth while restocking the system.
