Brief career recap followed by My personal feelings, which I'm sure echoe a lot of yours.

 

 

I still can't believe it.

 

I know everyone feels the pain, but there's an added pain in all of this if you are Cuban. What Jose and his family represented can't be described to anyone outside of the Cuban-American community. He represented the stories we tell our children, and that our grandparents point to after every long-winded story on Cuba or being Cuban in America. In my lifetime, we haven't had an individual epitomize this story quite like Jose did.

 

RIP, brother. I'll never forget.

 

 

Is it me or does it seem that last sun and mon seem like years ago.Seems like that sad yet magical bubble we were all in a few days back sun and  mon is slowly disappearing in the horizon. There are different stanges of death im sure. It seems that his  presence is ever so slowly fading as he moves on further and further into the light

 

 

None of this seems real in a way.  It's like I have been in a nightmare since Sunday morning when I heard the news.  Not sure when it will become truly real.  Spring training??

 

 

I'm not even one of the players and family so I can only imagine what they're going through but damn I feel emotionally and mentally drained, exhausted, and fatigued. I can't wait for the weekend. These last five days have taken a toll on me.
