August 27, 20178 yr they really should be hitting those waiver wires hard - there has to be some overpriced, average vet out there that has passed through that would be like picking up an ace for this team. Urena should get the start in a one-game playoff type scenario if Mattingly were given a choice of any of his starters, but we all know it depends on how recently he's pitched and that's more up to the baseball gods to decide at this point. I would have said Straily, had this been pre-ASG but now Urena has been the most consistent throughout the season.

I keep thinking this is too obvious to not be happening but it's 4 days until the deadline and there hasn't been a single report of them trying to pick anyone up. Fingers crossed.
