Pither-pitching is more important-we should try to improve our pitching as much as we could.

i think we need another solid bat. mid-relief will also be very important, but we are going to need someone to knock in Pierre and Castillo next year. Our lineup is one big bat away from being very dangerous. I vote Raffy.

How about left handed late inning men?

You don't need a left handed late inning man, just someone to be a lefty specialist.

 

And you know what, Mikey Neu and The Yellow Dart shut down lefties on there own. So it isn't that big of a need, it is more of a security blanket.

I'd rather have a third guy in there as security.

 

With our rotation, most of the time relievers won't be coming in until the 7th or 8th innings, so most of the time those are going to be the most used guys down in the pen. Not to mention that I won't really trust Neu until I see him for myself. I don't like those opp. avg. or WHIP numbers...

Cabs? I just feel like we are leaving a lot up to hope and chance this year. We're asking Cabrera and Choi to BOTH have breakout seasons, and we're asking Lowell to duplicate his breakout season last year, without the protection of Lee or Pudge on either side of him in the lineup. And then on top of all that, we're hoping nobody gets hurt. Can it happen? of course it can. But if we had one more big bat in there somewhere, there would be a lot less left to chance.
