That is fair though. Maybe bumping completely outside top 100 is extreme, but 75-100 range is a reasonable balance of risk/reward. I'd rather have Cabrera and Eury, and I think most here would too. To note, many thought Rogers would turn into a plus lefty reliever (including myself for a period of time). But, guys get better. Things change. Conditioning improves and small bumps in velocity in a first and third pitch makes all the difference. I think the lesson here is, Meyer is a # 2 piece in a trade for a stud, not a # 1 piece. I've been saying this for awhile, but any trade for a superstar starts with Watson, Eury, or Pablo. Everyone else is piece # 2.
