December 29, 200322 yr Author DT, you're lucky 'cause WORL is the best affiliate...air almost every game without fail unlike the WQAM-owned WWCN we have here in Fort Myers. At least I know that I can listen to the games when I visit Disney World.
December 29, 200322 yr I'm going to contact WJNA to see if they will start carrying the pre-game show as well as the game. Perhaps others in PB County want to do the same.
December 30, 200322 yr Author No more WQAM!? No more Van Horn? YAY! Please read! WQAM is the flagship (contract ends after 2004 season) Dave Van Horne is under contract until then and Boog most likely will return after being shut out of New York.
December 30, 200322 yr Author I am hopeful that soon I can list a listing of our new 2004 Marlins TV Network with stations in Miami, Palm Beach, Fort Myers, Orlando, and Gainesville. Who knows, maybe we can get Jacksonville too. Help get the Marlins on TV and Radio around the state! http://groups.msn.com/MarlinsBallparkNews/...tvandradio.msnw

December 30, 200322 yr Author Cox Cable in Gainesville will most likely return in 2004 with Marlins TV games, but radio in Gainesville is unlikely. We could add you to the campaign...what is a local sports station in Gatortown that could carry the games?
December 31, 200322 yr Cox Cable in Gainesville will most likely return in 2004 with Marlins TV games, but radio in Gainesville is unlikely. We could add you to the campaign...what is a local sports station in Gatortown that could carry the games? There really is none...97.3 FM the Sky carries the football and basketball games....do you think I could get the Daytona station??
December 31, 200322 yr A really good option for those of you who have broadband internet access is MLB.tv. The streams are perfect. It's not too expensive and when the Marlins aren't playing you can watch any other game you want! I know I"ll be using it religiously this summer when I move up to New York City and then Boston in the fall.
December 31, 200322 yr Author WELE in Daytona is an affiliate, but they don't air many games. They mostly air Braves games. WELE Signal WMEL in Melbourne airs many games, as does WORL in Orlando. WMEL Signal WORL Signal Hope you have a good AM radio. Let me investigat Sky FM.
December 31, 200322 yr Author OK...another addition to the Get-the-Marlins-on-the-air big list Gainesville *WSKY "The Sky 97.3 FM" Mark Leopold (VP/General Manager) mleopold@entercom.com Andrew Lee (Program Director) alee@entercom.com
