Brewers at Miami 4/17

These analytics guys try to be so smart that they're stupid. There's no reason to have the infield in down 1 in the 4th inning. Especially when you have the opportunity at a double play. It's just stupid.

Also, can we just make Hicks the every day catcher? Ramirez needs to full time DH. His defense is just bad. Stupid decision to throw to third with Pauley charging in for the bunt. Stupid baseball all around so far today.

Snelling 6ip, 2 hits, 0 runs, 1 walk, 9 strikeouts tonight so far.

Disagree that these guys aren't better than Paddack and Junk (and Eury right now for that matter).

Snelling and Garrett up. Paddack and Junk to the pen. Thomas White up not long thereafter. Rotation strong, bullpen stronger.

Next fix, 1b and catcher. Move Gus to 1b for Peter Bendix sake. Bring Mack up in May. Norby back to third.

Stowers also back next week. Call up Esteury Ruiz?

Pauley, Heriberto to AAA. DFA Slater. Peterson DFA and/or to AAA.

Use the 8-man rotation as long relief/short starters.

Now we are cooking.

How did the Blue Jay's let Otto Lopez go? He's probably out best all around position player.

Same thing for X. They make a dynamic middle infield.

These are guys we can sign to reasonable extensions. If we're a serious team, that is.

They are both tied up through 2030. Both will be over 30 years old at that point. Zero reason to sign them to extensions.

I don't disagree. But, let's be honest here. That's not the reason they won't extend them.

For every Otto Bendix finds there are 2 Austin slatete worth remembering

They’re some pretty easy and apparent fixes + call ups the team can make if they were serious about winning this year to make this team more competitive. Clearly they are not and this is another evaluation year and that’s the best way to look at this year.

They are clearly going with service time manipulation over putting the best team on the field which isn’t funnest thing to watch

Where can we find the data of the "service time manipulation " of those players ? at least we can know what's the time for their coming.

Maybe it's OK for the front office to "win in the future " but it's no way for the fans to "win in the future ", fans want "win now " after waiting for half year, all fans of all teams.

Yeah, I get that. You're always going to have more misses than hits. However, he's found Otto, Xavier and Hicks. The problem is that he gets stubborn with his misses and doesn't cut bait quick enough..
