Feels like a missed opportunity there, but we did score 2 and Throton is already at 57 pitches.

Good plate approach today, forcing Thornton to throw strikes. Nice aggression on base paths as well. Mets seem to make errors when they are pressured.

His career high is 82 pitches. On pace to exceed that in the 3rd inning. Bodes well.

I worry about Tyler Phillips. He allows way to many basetunners. Walking tight ropes is not a recipe for long term success. And this is not because of the move to starter. He actually has a higher WHIP as a reliever this year.
