Why does everyone want Orlando Hernadez so much? He sucks, has alot of arm trouble.. miss the entire season last year, why do we need him? I would rather have Micheal Tejera pitching then El Duque.

it all depends on cost. in my opinion, if he is A) healthy and B) willing to sign a 1-year deal at a good price ($2 mill or below), he would be a smart sign. I think that he is exactly what we need - a guy who can likely start 10-15 games at the start of the season until AJ is on track, and then can be moved easily and effectively to mid-relief once AJ returns. It would be good for us, since we don't need him to go a full year just a couple months, and it would be good for him, since moving to the pen may help him stay healthy.

Probably must Cuban pitchers come with arm trouble.. (Remeber i said "most")

Who wouldn't want a valuable veteran pitcher who has a lifetime ERA of 4.03 and had a 3.68 in the NL in 02? He would make a great #5 for any team.

el duque is old and with a history of arm trouble. unless you get him for a million he is not worth the risk.

if el duque pitches like garbage you will be needing to replace him midseason and by that point pitchers are more expensive.
