January 16, 200422 yr I don't know if this is "the year" for Pitt. I saw them play the other night for the first time against Notre Dame, and they are very good, but I don't know if they are national championship quality. You do however have a deep team of good talent, have an incredible home court advantage and a nice court, and you should be able to recruit well. I'd say in about 2 years, Pitt hoops SHOULD be a major power, and I think they will be, but i'm not sure if this year is "the year." Oh, and Carl Krauser is VERY good.

The creation of the "Oakland Zoo" has really put the people in the seats. It's nice to have a Pitt version of the Cameron Crazies. Pitt hasn't gone 17-0 since the 27-28 season. It's really hard to say if they're a national power right now, but we'll be able to tell after monday's game. If we beat them, top 5 we come.

January 16, 200422 yr i had Zona winning it all damn Jayhawks I know. I had Zona either in the final 4 or national title game, whenever they woud have played the Cuse. The Jayhawks ALMOST cost me the big money, thank God for Carmelo Anthony though .

January 16, 200422 yr Pitt is god's team. They need A Pitt Basketball Flag on top of The Tower of Learning. I'm saying this right now, Pitt will be at worse be an Elite 8 team this year. Everyone underestimated them going in and now they must pay now.
