January 25, 200422 yr This is the year that Nascar officially gets the respect it deserves and it all starts with Daytona on NBC, I predict huge ratings but who do most have to win? I've been saying it for awhile to my dad, Junior's car problems end this year and he takes it, if his car remains fine Junior is the clear favorite. I think a lot of normal behind the pack guys will show strong showings one of those being my boy Mongo and I think Kenseth actually does poorly finishing around 18th.

January 25, 200422 yr Rune Mongo is no more. I just want Russell to pick up another victory. Newman is gonna take it...and there will be a surprise or two along the way. Boris Said will get top 5 at Sonoma in June. And Fox needs to take over NASCAR full time. the NBC/TNT annoucners bore me.

January 25, 200422 yr come on... Chris Myers is not a good ole boy. I know but they got more than NBC. Chris Myers isn't that good but the rest are including the Hollywood Hotel. Dont know why they call it that.

January 25, 200422 yr i dont know if he will or not..... i wouldnt be shocked to see fox become the outright home of nascar...granted that would be difficult toward the end of hte season...but they could be creative for sure.....
January 25, 200422 yr Favorite drivers: Sterling Marlin and Bill Elliot. Only Marlin is a regular driver now. I like the good ol' boy Dodge drivers.

No way NBC would lose a bidding war with Fox considering that they don't have football and baseball anymore and Nascar is going to eclipse Hockey and Basketball in popularity.
January 25, 200422 yr nbc will have to pony up the big bucks then..... which considering they only have the olympics and notre dame football wouldnt be a stretch. i would advice them to bring over the entire fox crew though. cause the nbc one blows.
January 25, 200422 yr Allen Bestwick is an annoying little midget... Anyways, I'll be heading up to Daytona for the Truck and IROC race on the Friday before the 500. Should be fun. Always great excitement in those races. Last year, the truck race ended 3 wide for the win at the finish line.
