Their making a caddyshack 3, hopefully Craig Spackler makes an appearance good god man.....a hack? wow I think he get's away a lot of times with his looks, Look back at some of his work Edward ScissorHands: His job was to walk around and look mentally handicap Sleepy Hollow: Come on his accent was horrible and his chemistry with Christina Ricci was nothing special Once upon a time in Mexico: He role was basically a corny american, nothing special at all. And in Pirates it seems everyone think he did such a great job was because he immitated a humpback for the entire movie, with the arm motions and the dragging feet. I'll give him credit he wasn't bad as Sparrow but it could have been done better and he gets so much more credit than he deserves. Bill Murray on the other hand is just a comedy genius, anyone that has seen Caddyshack, lost in translation, or Groundhogs day knows that.

January 30, 200422 yr I voted Depp. I was going to vote Bill Murray because I like that movie so much, and because I know Depp has no chance in hell at winning, but then I thought, "Who am I kidding? I think Depp gave the best performance." So, that was that. Bill Murray over Sean Penn for the Oscar, though, if I had my choice. All these dudes were pretty damn good, though.
January 30, 200422 yr Greatest of all time? Brando. Fat jokes aside, the dude's crazy enough to be the best actor of all time. Greatest of last year: Billy Bob Thorton in Bad Santa. Sorry, but it was my favorite movie of last year and I thought his performance went unnoticed. However, I'm rooting for Murray. He's been brilliant for years it's about damn time.

It doesnt matter what you play as long as you do it good, and he great at what he does, like you say what did he have to do in Edward ... he had to play a freak, and he did damn good job at it. now if he does win this year, i would feel bad since Pirates is not his best role(one thing i do agree with you is about the accent i didnt like it, but it grew on me after a while .... btw i just watched pirates literally a second ago)
January 31, 200422 yr Pitt could pull of Depp roles. That guy's vastly underrated as an actor. He was brilliant in borth Snatch and Fight Club. He's got depth and charm, same as Depp. He just happens to be less reclusive than Depp. Pitt doesn't get enough chances to do character roles.

February 1, 200422 yr I hate Sean Penn, so I can't vote for him despite his credentials. So it's Murray for me.
