January 31, 200422 yr The Giants, of course. The Padres are on the upswing, but they won't be in the playoffs until next year at the earliest. The Dodgers have done very little to improve the worst offense in baseball, AND they lost Kevin Brown. They could lose more games than last season. The Rockies won't contend either, and neither will the D-Backs, who are a season from total rebuilding mode.
